Sarah was in every way a wonderful daughter. Life with her was full of fun and she loved her sport, tennis being her favourite. Sarah could also surprise her Mum and Dad. We tended to think of her as positive but fairly quiet and we often wondered over the years how she would get on in life. However, she seemed to gain good friends reasonably easily and as we discovered when she disappeared, had made wonderful friends, both in Scotland and Australia who turned out to be the very best of people and were indicative of the type of person that Sarah had become.
This is not to say that she was an angel, Sarah could demonstrate a feisty temper when annoyed and was not afraid to step forward when the occasion demanded! When you knew which buttons to press, you could get a fine performance ! ! In other words, we had a normal, loving girl and she had the best of life to look forward to when it was taken away from her so tragically.
The most dreadful part is not knowing what has happened to her. We will never give up looking until either Sarah is found or we are no longer on this earth.
